Rash started on Both sides on Belly then chest, stomach, shoulders

I had a sex with a prostitue, For the first five minutes I was not wearing a condom but when I came to my senses (because I was a little bit drunk) I had put on a condom and finished.

On the first week I got an infection inside my right ear then on the second week a rash started on both sides of my belly then to my chest, stomach, shoulders and back. No high fever but fatigue and stress maybe due to always thinking if I have an HIV or not. Some of the rushes has pus inside (yellow like pimple) and it can be removed. The rashes is not that many.

I could not get a test here since the country I am working with is very sensitive ragarding this issues.

My question is can I be infected to the duration that I am not wearing a condom and also I licked her *****.

Hope to hear an advise.

The only way you will know your status is by testing. You did put yourself at risk and even if you only had a one time exposure you can contract HIV.

The chances you caught HIV are extremely slim even if she had HIV, which she probably didn't.  From a single exposure like you describe.

I advise you to browse the Dr's forums.  Your question has been answered there many times.

It appears to me that you are working in some emirates in the Gulf, where incoming prostitutes enter freely without any screening but their "innocent victims" are deported when found infected. I know many of them expelled when fdetected positive.

You can not get HIV test kit by mail into these tiny states due to strict security and custom control on incoming parcels. You can not hide your infection while living there, because you may go through clinical investigation either in your annual medical check up or in case of some prolonged illness.Better to get yourself tested in your native country, before such time arrives.

Thanks for all your comments. I do know I had to get tested since it will be my six weeks now. But my problem is where and how. I could not just go to a clinic and get tested since I am only working here. I don't know there confidentiality regarding this issue. If got tested positive maybe they will report it to the government and I will be deported that fast. There is no way I could buy an HIV home test kit either.

Hoping someone will help me or sent me a HIV home test kit and I will pay you. I really want to know my condition right. I don't have any credit card so I could not purchase either. Hoping someone will sent me a couple of test kit and will pay the money thru there account or courier also.

Thanks.

Heard what HSci34 said? Do let me know if Teak or other knowledgeable here, advise you differently. HIV Transmission is not a game of numbers and probability. Just one exposure is sometime enough to contract the virus, if all the conditions met. You had unprotected sex with a prostitute of unknown status, you are at a risk and need to get tested,,, Period

The HIV virus is difficult to transmit, but the encounter you describe is an encoutner that could have put you at risk. The odds of contracting the virus from vaginal sex is about 1 in 1 000, not particularly high, but still high enough that you need to have HIV and STD testing. Since you had unprotected vaginal sex, a six week HIV test will give you a very good indication of what your status is (>95% of people test positive by then, virtually everyone with a normal immune system), but you need to go and get tested again at the 3 month mark to be 100% sure.

Because you had unprotected vaginal penetration, without wearing a condom. You are exposed to a risk. Unprotected vaginal and anal sex is the prime cause of HIV transmission via sexual route.

What do you mean by that. "My risk is not Zero as result to my exposure.

First of all, you had unprotected penetration, irrespective of duration, that incident alone puts you on a risk.Degree of risk, however may vary, depending upon general health and hygiene, and  status of the prostitute, you were involved with. But without scaring you, I am clear that your risk is not "Zero" as a result of this exposure.

I do not pay much attention on symptoms, because similar symptoms can be due to other reasons and illnesses. Moreover, many infected persons never experienced any symptom. The only way out for you to confirm your status is, an antibody test to be done after 3 months mark after the exposure, to be considered as final and conclusive.

Meanwhile avoid unprotected sex with anyone, including your long term committed partner. Next time, never drive a car or a lady when drunk, as both carry life risk.
Good Luck.
