Really bad news, I think it may be over for me
Folks, for those that have been following my journey, I have some bad news to share.
I do have chlamydia. It has been 1 month since protected exposure vaginal/anal exposure & unprotected oral exposure. During that one month period I have had 3 rounds of different antibiotics. 2 rounds of zithromax, 1 round of doxy.
And for some reason, the chlamydia is still there.
The girl that gave it to me had obviously (now it is to me) been batteling her chlamydia for a long time. Now the questions are.... is this a chlamydria strain that is resistive to popular antibiotic treatment, or is that her own immune system combined with the antibiotics was not stong enough to fight the chlamydia. If this is the case, then possibly she is HIV positive. If this is the case, possibly it applies to me as well.
The doctor told me that I probably got chlamydia through oral, I told him that on the "web" the consensus by many MD's is that oral sex can not spread chlamydia.... He said "Those MD's do not work in the sex capital of the world." I then asked if it is also the case that HIV can be spread through oral, he said "Theoretically yes, but he has never seen it."
So now it comes down to what happened, oral, or failed condom usage?
So scared, so very scared. I will get the PCR results fairly soon aound 7 days or so. The doctor indicated that I should not hold those results very reiliable.... and that I have to test at 3 months. I am so angry at myself!
He gave me a different round of meds, and I will go back in a few days to be retestest for chlamydia. So for those that think condoms are king.... like I used too, I am letting you know.... that in my book, wearing a jimmy may not be good enough.
I am afraid I will not see my son grow up....

I love talkin to you man. I understand to a degree, cuz I really don't have no one to talk to about what I'm going through. These STDs are bad enough, but when HIV comes up it's a million times more scarry. Today I went to the beach again and just looked at the water for like an hour. I wont have health insurrance until october, so I have to save my doctor visits for the moment.
I don't buy this story for one minute and I don't know what you're trying to pull here. You can stop with your drama and guessing games. Not once did you say you were NAAT tested or retested after given medication. Chlamydia is easily treated, Post this nonsense to Dr. H and see what kind of response you get.
I have never heard of Chlamydia being resistant to antibiotics. The most effective treatment for Chlamydia is a 1000mg one-time dose of Azythromycin (ZIthromax) or a 7 day course of Doxycycline. Each of those is 97-98% effective against Chlamydia. Therefore, I highly doubt you have Chlamydia.
What kind of tests is the doctor performing? The best test to detect Chlamydia is a urine or swab amplification test. All other tests can yield false results. Also, just because you got Chlamydia from this girl does not mean that you also got HIV, even if she was HIV+. I

sorry to hear about that buddy. You have been one of the very cool people on this board. Hope you get better, but I think your in the clear as far as HIV is concerned.
I've been trying to be less depressing since the board is getting pretty sick of me. But when someone who isn't sick often suddenly is sick 2 wks after banging a ho bag. Look I am not trying to pool anything. The test was a swab test, with what appeared to be some type of die sollution being added to a mircroscope slide. I wathed the doctor do the whole procedure. Well the swab and mircroscope part... I never did "see" what he saw. Truth is, I would not know what I was looking at in the first place.
Where I am at, zithromax is OTC (over the counter without a perscription) that is how I have been able to take so many meds without consulting with a doctor or being tested.
I finally got tested, because the oppertunity to do so came up.
I DO KNOW zithromax is supposed to be DARN effective, and that is why I am so dang scared about also haveing HIV.
My first scare, regarding HIV (broken condom) proved to be unwarrented. Fortuanatley I have tested negative via PCR and antibody at the 3 month mark. So that is out of the way, the problem is that I am currently in another window period.
I have sworn of "casual" sex.... the girl that took me to see the doc, is a girl that we used to have sex together... I came out of the office, and said "it is not good." The doctor said she should be fine if we use a condom.... but I insitsted NO WAY. No way am I going to subject anyone with these worries.
As far as ARS, about the only thing I can say really looks like ARS, and this is being really down to earth and critical, is a sore throat. It is not all that bad, but it is there. No fever, the other issues I attribute to anxiety. I do so because I have been through this before due to the first window period with the broken condom... I have more of an understanding of anxiety can do. Thus far, no real fever to speak of and no real rash to speak of. The tongue symptom I do not trust, no sleep, no apetite, & nausea, I attribute to anxiety. Partly because of that increased in intensity since I got the positive test regard Chlamedia.
I am not trying to pool anything, maybe.... and this is a reach, but maybe the MD is. I know that sounds silly, but I am sure the citizens of this country get tired of seing foriengers comming to thier home land and using their women as sex toys.
Although this could be easily construed in my case.... it was not my intent.

I'm not too sure the microscope way is a proper way to identify chlamydia!

What, does it look that different from other bacteria??
I just don't know that test.
In the US they do PCR now.
Try to get that done somehow, if you can.
Hold your horses for now, maybe your Doc is wrong.

Ahh..just read the entire thing now, if you ask me, I'd tell you you're in the clear,bro.
since all your exposures were protected and the condom breakage event was tested out till 3 months for a conclusively negative result

I had a broken condom with a pro.
First time we met, (I know this sounds strange) we slept together, but NO sex. That was the condition.... I was scared, I did not want to cheat on my wife... I just wanted to be held, to feel needed, to feel loved...
and she gave me that. Then well after a couple of months I saw her again, we had sex that time, we were together maybe 3 nights and during a sexual episode, a condom broke. She tested negative like the day after, she was trying to make me less nervous.

look, you have nothing to worry about eat well, sleep well and be happy, HIV is not for you.
A person recieving oral sex cannot get chlamydia, the person giving the blowjob or
cunnulingus is the one who can be infected by chlamydia in the throat area, Since jimmy is the one recieving oral sex , he cannot be infected with chlamydia
OK if that is correct, and I am not saying it is not.... then I had condom failure. I climbed into the shower and showered with the condom on, because it was covered with blood. She bled a lot, just like a woman would on her period. I washed with the condom on, I have slight like flash back if you will, if seing bloody water under the condom...

I don't see why your so worried about HIV. The antibodies would have shown up by then your in the clear. The title of your post was a bit dramatic. I hope you get better health wise and family wise.

They should have just given you a single 1 g. shot.

I think you might just want to couph up 15 bucks and ask Dr.H.
