Really concerned over posibility of HIV, not feeling like myself lately...

I'm not one to be a hypochondriac or anything like that but it seems like lately my body has been acting up all over.

-A few weeks back I had a severe sense of fatigue all around, to the point where I would come from work and sleep (stuck in bed) for hours on end.
--This same event was accompanied by a slight fever and a killer case of headaches later.
--My tonsils or lymph nodes in neck, felt swollen the entire time.
--white tongue, bad acidic taste

I went to my doctor and he stated I "may" have had strep throat. He gave me antibiotics and some of those symptoms went away.

Then a week or two later it all started to come back very slowly. My neck feels constricted, I have this constant case of anxiety over it. I feel physically exhausted (but functional). I feel like there's something wrong in my body.

It's kind of honed in to just a small lump in my neck, right past the back of tongue (lymph nodes?).

Anyways, my concern is actually my sex life, which I've definitely toned down since this started. It's embarrassing to admit it, but I'll say I'm into oral sex, and I have tried anal sex twice (unprotected, though he didn't finish or was in too long, sorry for the details...)

I have been experiencing a minor weight loss, but that may be attributed to a change in diet and some increased exercising(cardio) on my part to blow off some stress.

The optimistic side of me wants to attribute some things to dehydration and heat (I live in a desert area) and I usually run outside for an hour or so every other day.

However I'm terrified that I may have HIV.

When these things first started (about the same time I went to the doctor) I tried an Oraquick HIV test because I was freaking out and it came negative. It's been about two or three weeks since. Should I take another?

Any advise or information would seriously be appreciated.

As you were advised, get yourself tested to collect your conclusive test report and know your health status accurately. Symptoms do not mean much and are often misleading and confusing. HIV related symptoms are very much similar to those, due to other common infections. Secondly, many actually infected people remain 100% asymptomatic. Therefore do not pay attention towards the symptoms. Go get tested.

Yeah, been on that no-sex mindset for the past few weeks till I get tested soon by an actual medical examination (I'm in the military and they have us do annual checkups as well as on-demand).

My biggest fear factor that's been driving me crazy is that by no means do I feel healthy like I used to. I feel like I've been constantly (minor) sick for the past month. Don't know if its because of my restrictive diet change I went through and increased exercising that's just taking a toll on my body or what, but it's scaring the hell out of me.

I spoke with the two guys I did anal with and they both swear up and down that they're clean, but I know that doesn't mean much >_>

This anxiety though is literally depressing... Got a constant headache over it.
Your anxiety is most likely why you are not feeling well. Anxiety is insidious and can ruin our health. As you have been advised, get tested so you can move on with your life. We all wish you the best

Dont be sorry about the details. We need the details to assess you. You had no risk of hiv from the oral sex .Albeit brief, your unprotected anal is of a concern here. There is a risk there. When was the rapid test taken? Our advise is to take an ag/ab test at the 6th week mark to get an indication of your status followed by a 12th week ab test to conclude. Only by testing would you know your true status. We cannot diagnose hiv by symptoms.
