Risk Assesment

Hi Doc.
I saw an escort in MI, she was late 40’s. First I fingered her and she licked my finger. Then she licked my scrotum. She then put on a condom and gave me oral, after which we had intercourse, doggy, her on top and missionary. To finish I removed the condom and masturbated over her mouth. I did not put my bare penis into her mouth but her tounge may have touched it as she was trying to lick it, but I was not going to let that happen. I’m a little worried that since I used the same hand to masturbate as removing the condom and fingering I could have contracted something that way. I am circumsized but I read that the entire head of the penis is mucous membrane not just the urethra. Also Is using that one condom for both oral and intercourse was ok? Do you think maybe with her on top something could of seeped through the condom?  Thanks for your time

This was a no risk exposure as was already indicated on the HIV Prevention Forum.  As Dr. Handsfield told you on a prior post, there is no risk to masturbation.  In addition, condom-protected sex is safe sex and virtually no risk either.  That you masturbated with a potentially vaginal fluid contaminated hand or that her tongue may have touched the tip of your penis does not change that.

It is normal for genital secretions form one's partner to get on each other during mutual masturbation yet no one has ever gotten HIV in this way..  You do not need to worry.

Finally, the problem with using the same condom for both oral and vaginal intercourse is that this may increase the risk for condom breakage.  This did not happen to you (when condoms break, they break wide open and it is obvious) so you are OK.  In the future however, I suggest you use a different condom for each sex act.

You are fine and do not need testing.  No need for worry. EWH
