Risk from Kissing...

I am a young gay male new to the "scene"...but I thought I have always been cautious and tried to protect myself.

But this past Sunday, something went wrong...

I went out to a gay bar to check it out and see what type of people went there when I met this guy...We talked for about 20 minutes and he reached over and grabbed me and kissed me. I felt his tongue touch mine, but then I pushed away.

Later, he asked me to go home with him and I said I was only interested in dating, not casual sex. He then asked what he would have to do to date me and I told him we would both be tested.

He said, "Oh, I'm HIV positive". I left after that. I felt scared and violated. I hate it because I sound like I'm being mean, and I'm not really a mean person.

I am scared because I don't know if I am at risk or not. I brushed my teeth before I went out that night, but I don't remember if he kissed me an hour after or more?

Does anyone here think I have a risk?

I would appreciate any advice you guys could give because I feel like I am about to go crazy...

No need to worry or no need to test, you can get a mouthful of his blood and there still wouldnt be a risk. Why: saliva kills HIV. Look it up, just google it. Teak will even tell you that Saliva kills HIV. Did you taste any blood in your mouth, No i bet you didnt cause you would have stated it in your post. There is no nead to worry. Your fine.
