Risk of Single Sex Exposure to HIV+

What is my risk single sex exposure with the prostitute female in 1min sex intercouse? I am male from Philippines. I dont know if she is HIV+. I dont have symptoms, I was expose since Dec. 24, 2010. Anyone can help me to make my mind clear?

1:2,000 is that assuming the partner is HIV+, your chance is 1 among 2,000 sex with her and yes, you could get HIV in a single sex intercourse if it was unprotected and the partner was HIV+, but get yourself checked now to know. False negative result is impossible beyond 3 months post-exposure.

It is unprotected sex lessthan 1minute and just onces. I dont have any symptoms till now. Is it the odds are true? what is the meaning of 1:2000? can I get HIV in Single sex intercourse?

I read about Doc. H.H of some of his cooments, It is very rare to get HIV in single contact. Is that true? I am residing here in Philippines.

It still can be. It's rare because not everybody has HIV, but if want to have a full clarity then you need to get tested now.

Unprotected sex is still a risk, you need to be tested. Not all exposure will make you HIV+. But, for peace of mind, get tested. I hope you get good news.

common sense states that the longer you are exposed to something...the greater your chance of infection.

go test and be done with this fear ! ! !

UNTIL you are in a monogamous relationship where BOTH of you have tested...ALWAYS use condoms for penetrative vaginal / anal intercourse.    sex lasts a few minutes...HIV LASTS A LIFETIME.
