Risk of HIV by touching contaminated things

Risk of HIV by touching contaminated things

Hi Expert,

I went to HIV clinic for blood test and the result is normal but I have little concern. This is because after I went back home, I did masturbation and I am not sure that I washed my hand already or not. Actually, I am 90% think that I wash my hand as usual but it seems that I am now OCD and think that if I did not wash my hand.

In the case that I didn't wash my hand and did masturbation, do I have any risk of HIV? I concern that I touch door knob, book, pens, etc. These things might cantaminate HIV blood or HIV fluid. I felt dry when I touched them. There were about 2-3 hours after touching these things at HIV clinic and I did masturbation.

Could you please advise me?

" The FACT is, HIV is a very difficult virus to transmit.  Comparable to other viruses (ie influenza), it is a very WEAK and unstable virus that succombs to the environment rapidly.  It needs basically a set of near perfect circumstances to allow for infection.  Therefore, a person CANNOT get HIV from environmental surfaces, like toilet seats, manicure/barber equipment, shower stalls, drinking glasses, toothbrushes, etc etc.  The virus quickly becomes inactive when it is outside of its host (the body).  This is why infection from inanimate objects is impossible.  This is also why mutual masturbation with exposure to a partner's gential (genital) fluids is also NOT a risk in any way.  This also is the case with cuts, abrasions, cracked cuticles, etc.  Those things make no difference when it comes to risk, as the virus is outside of its host, rendering it inactive."

Absolutely no risk dude. Your fear is irrational. HIV virus can not survive out of our body.

Once virus is outside from the host it becomes IMMEDIATELY in.active. Exposure to air and temp change damages the outer shell of the virus which made it unable to infect. These are some of the reasons why HIV cannot live from in.animate objects.

the fact that there is an occupational hazard of HIV due to blood splash and contact to other fluids etc,why is there a risk if the HIV cannot infect outside the body.
is this not a contradiction to your argument?
