Risk of getting HIV

Hello Doctor,
I have gone through the forum and I did not find any information about my question below, please give me advice.
I just got my results for herpes and it was positive for type I and II. I have never had any symptoms in my genital area. Without knowing I had herpes I received unprotected oral sex from a girl and as I said before I did not have any lesions at the time of the oral sex. Is the risk of getting HIV is still low? Do I have to do the test for HIV? The girl also did not show any signs of herpes in her mouth.

Thanks a lot

Getting a blowjob is not a risk. You could however transmit herpies to the girl that gave you the blowjob. You don't have to have an outbreak to transmit herpies. Wear a condom for now on.
