Risk quesion

Hi just a very quick question.
last week I went for a sexual health screening at the clinic. When using the toilet I scratched my thumb on a piece of jagged metal on the bolt lock of the toilet room door. There was a surface scratch and what seems like two small puncture holes (which now seemed to have turned to small scabs), but I couldn't see any blood at the time.
The toilet is used by everyone when giving a urine sample. My question is, if someone with hiv had scratched themselves on the same lock before me (supposing there was blood), could it have been transmitted to me when I scratched my thumb.

Apologies for my ignorance, I'm just thinking of a worst case scenario (if it counts as a scenario at all), as the majority of the people at the clinic were there for a sexual health screening, I can't help thinking that someone with HIV may have scratched themselves before me.

Thanks for your time
