Risk with a possible HIV positive person

Risk with a possible HIV positive person

I had unprotected sex with a woman for about 3 months, the last time being around august this year.  In those 3 months, I would say I had sex around 20 times with this person.  She recently (today) told me she had a test done and it came back positive.  This was the first time of me hearing anything about this, or even that she was concerned to get tested.

I went in for the first run of tests and will get a result in a weeks time.  I know of one partner she had once while I was seeing her, I am not sure if there may have been more.  I also had sex sometimes with her while she was on her period.

I am in Japan and the doctor told me not to worry too much but with these stats, I would like to know a second opinion.  I know I should have been protected and that's how its been since so please spare the "you should have" talk.

Thank you.

I should add that I am not sick, dont feel sick, and havent been sick in the time I spent with her.  I have had burning sensation with urination (but not painful) but it is at random times and may be due to what I ate.

What you will have to do is test at 3 months since last exposure and that will give you a conclusive result.
