Risks

by Ronell, Mar 17, 2008 11:34AM
I had sex with  one lady using a condom, but in the course of  it the condom got burst. Immediately I changed for another one. So far I have been experiencing changes in my body. After 8 week I went for a test it was negative. My question is , was I at risk if the lady was positive? Help me what I can do about it, for I'm psychologically affected.

I can tell you, based on your 8 week negative... that it is almost impossible that you have HIV. Regardless of what changes you are experiencing in your body (guilt/anxiety can cause lots of changes, so can other illnesses... so if you are truly concerned go see your doctor). Has it been 12 weeks yet? If it has, GO AND GET tested again. You can be 100% sure of your result then, and move on from this. Your test, WILL be negative.
