Scared ! HIV & Hep B !

Hi about 2 half weeks ago I had sex with a street worker , she gave me oral and when I looked the condom was coming off but was still on the tip on my penis , we had sex and just before I finished the condom had broke !  Honestly going crazy ! I went to the clinic next day and because Iv not been vaccinated before to protect me from Hepatitis B ! They Gave It me 12 hours after exposure !, does anyone know if it's effective hours after exposure!? , however I'm really worried about HIV because Iv had symptoms of flu like and I have a dry cough ! I'm so worried right now I don't know who to turn to . Thanks

Hello,
Unprotected penetration (even a brief incident like the one you describe) poses a risk of HIV transmission.
An HIV test at the right time will give you accurate results.
A 4th generation test should be done at 4 weeks post exposure and a simple HIV test at three months post exposure.
Keep calm and test at the right time.
Take care
