Scared I may have caught hiv!!!!

After breaking up with my boyfriend i did some thing very stupid I went and slept with my ex! The condom broke he ejaculated inside me now Im terrified I might have caught hiv!!! He said he is clean a has visited the gum clinic regular but I dont trust him and I think he has numerous partners although he denies this. VERY FRIGHTENED!!!!

of course a single exposure can put you at risk...it only takes one time.  that being said...the odds are definitely with you.  the chance that your ex has hiv...further widens those odds.

test at 6-8 weeks for a good indication of your status...but follow that up for a conclusive result at 3 months.

your risk is low from a one time exposure...but it CAN happen.  it is highly doubtful that your ex even has hiv.
