Seborrheic Dermatitis

I know Seborrheic Dermatitis is associated with HIV but I had sex with a CSW then two weeks later I flared up with SB on my scalp, eyebrows, ears and cheeks. I haven't had it before and was interested to know whether it could be a sign of of HIV infection two weeks after infection?

There are other causes of seborrheic dermatitis that are much more common than HIV, such as Stress, fatigue, weather extremes, oily skin, infrequent shampoos or skin cleaning, use of lotions that contain alcohol, skin disorders (such as acne), or obesity. Was your sex protected?

yes it was protected but unsure if it failed, is SD common in the first couple of weeks after infection?

I haven't tested yet, its only been 2 weeks, yes i'm scared, ofcourse. I was interested to know if anyone else knows if Seborrheic Dermatitis is associated with a recent infection?

you don't get it. you were protected and you wouldn't get any onset that fast. you need to move on. thats why I said tell us what your test results are. better yet find a post on here, where the person wore a condom and turned positive broken/or not. let it go.

wow thats a little surprising but OK, when should i get tested?

not surprising! just facts! please think about it. I haven't seen anybody on here who wore a condom and came out positive. HIV cannot penetrate latex.  6 weeks would be conclusive in your case. Dr HHH wouldn't even recommend testing....
