Selenium and hiv

Will taking between 800mcg-1200mcg (4pills a day with every mealtime) of Selenium have any effect on hiv developing
during the seroconversion period?  (like AZT for instance)

those vitamins are meant to boost up immunity, so hes wondering if that boosted immunity will lead to a delayed seroconversion
