Semen on old scratch

Semen on old scratch

Hi Experts,

I think that this is very low to no risk but would like to ask advice from an expert.

So I believe i'm practising safe sexual activity with mutual masterbation (masturbation) and discussions with partner about testing and negative results, doing what i think is safe.

Then during the sexual encounter my partner ejaculated and the semen 'landed' on my arm, which i know is fine but i had a few days old scratch on my arm. It has a scab on it and it does not look open as such. Is this something to be concerned about as I have read that you can contract HIV from semen and open wounds? How open does a cut/wound/scratch have to be. Is a scab enough of a protective barrier?

Thankyou in advance.

even without the "scab"...a cut starts healing from the inside out within hours.

you were NOT at risk from the situation that you have described above.

Just one more question really for interests sake, if semen did get into an open cut would it be considered low risk or high risk?

Thanks

This is probably an anxiety driven question so I apoligise in advance. It is do to with my initial question with a little more thought I have started to worry about more things.

After the semen 'landed' on my arm I wiped it off with a tissue. And I'm secure in my thoughts that the cut on my arm was not a risk.

My anxiety got the better of my as a day later a found a scab on my foot, it is only little but got worried some semen fell onto my foot and into a cut. What are the possibilites and as i hope your anwers is no possibilities if you have the time could you say why?? I feel it is little as semen is not that runny but the possibity 'what if' is worrying me.

I feel very foolish asking this question and apoligise again.
