it infects and my friend has it
XMRV is non existent. it does not infect human beings.
we need to test for mycoplasma
well, man ! i have found some positive tests i have made! 1: ureaplasma infection 1 million copy/ml " the test was semen culture " and i have read a lot about ureaplasma that it is one of the mycoplasma family the smallest organism of bacteria ever, and it attacks and lives in the immune white blood cells too and it does not have a cover it means normal antibiotics don't help. i have found positive cmv IgG.
have you checked your cd4 and cd8? also many people like us suffer from the same problem. they have all symptoms of hiv but negative test results which lead me to say that hiv is not the only cause of what we have.
please, check for xmrv virus " hiv-like virus" and htlv.
119 millions test in 2012 n 98.6 % were negative . N message girls r checkedfor hiv one every three month
R we living in 1999....it's 2014 n labs n etc had improved a lot .. Explain your symptoms to your doctor who may arrange for blood testing if he can not diagnose it. One thing is for certain, it is not HIV.
i am still not relieved of fungal infection ( pityrosporum folliculitis) despite aggressive treatment with oral and topical azoles. my wife has another breakout of herpes on cheek.
i do not know what is happening to me and my wife. everybody say that i do not have Hiv because my test are negative. if it is not Hiv than is it HTLV,EBV,CMV or some other virus that creating havoc. i am unable to find an answer.
God is great.
Thanks Vance
I am now able to track down my ailment. The rashes were due to malassezia pityrosis foliculitis which improved by initial treatment with itraconazole. This infection might have been triggered by the use of minoxidil. Because minoxidil also suppresses the immune system. the infection was not cured fully. Now I am using ketoconazole 2% shampoo on by body and clotrimazole 1% ointment. This has given me relief. The doctors in my area are foolish. One doctor told me that burning sensation is due to dry skin and prescribed me to apply olive oil which aggravated the fungal infection.
But this does not explain the swelling of the lymph nodes in the neck. Lately I am noticing one 3-4 mm hard ball like thing at centre of my right arm. Can this be due to fungal infection only.
Reread what Howard wrote.
Hi
For past few months i have been noticing clear skin growths under my tongue. Today i googled and was worried that this is also pointing towards secondary syphlis. I have tested VDRL and TPHA three four times and all are negative. I have also learnt from internet that if a person is HIV + his VDRL and TPHA can be false negative. So in distant possiblity can my HIV tests be false negative.
Thanks vance for your support and guidance
No it has nothing to do with it, follow up with your Dr.
Hi
Thanks HowardH & Teak
I am relieved by your expert evaluation but one thing is still terryfying me. My doctor in his diagnosis has written "AID". Now i do not know what does he mean by it. Does he mean "Acquired immune deficiency" or "Auto immune disorder".
I forgot to mention in my earlier post that i had started using "Minoxidil 10%" for hair regrowth two weeks before the rashes stareted. I had immediately stopped using it after the rashes. Does it have any connection with it.
Thanks
You never had an exposure.
Hi
Thanks
Do you know what is the maximum recorded time for a person to show positive antibody after exposure.
Thanks
Your test results prove your symptoms are not due to HIV, and the exposure you describe was no risk for HIV anyway. Work with your doctor to learn the cause of your symptoms.
