Should I get tested today???

Should I get tested today???

I'm going to take a 10-minute rapid finger ***** test today and I have two concers?

1.  I've always heard that rapid tests took 20 minutes, so would this 10 min. be accurate

2.  It's been almost three months since possible exposure--11 weeks
Would this be conclusive, or should I wait another two weeks?

You can take a test any time you want. You didn't have a risk to begin with. As for the time it takes to get a result. The Reveal G3 Rapid HIV Test can give you a result in 3 minutes or less.

His second question; would 11 weeks be conclusive?

Not sure what test you are talking about or will be taking, but it is good to make sure prior to your testing.  Oraquick Rapid test takes ~20min. to give accurate, clear results.  Usually testing at 12 or 13 weeks is considered conclusive, but 11 weeks is certainly valid that you don't have HIV (not that you had a risk to begin with), and your status is not going to change.
