Silly question but am worried!

Hi

I know this is a silly question but have managed to work myself in to a state. Mainly from reading about open cus sores and blood.

A few days ago I visited a massage parlour. I asked for a back massage. I kept my trousers on and just had my top off. The lady performing the massage kept her clothes on, so the only contact was hand to back. On returning home I noticed a scratch or 2 on my back. Now my mind has gone in to overdrive about what could have happened.

I realise that I need to get help around my anxiety issues and will be getting some professional help, but could you offer me some reassurances about this 'exposure'

Thanks

We have the option of simply deleting questions which are totally groundless and do not provide useful information to other client of the site.  I typically choose to provide and answer for such cases, just to be totally clear to you.  Your fears are TOTOALLY groundless.  Even if the masseuse had HIV and that is very unlikely, HIV has never, ever been documented to have been transmitted in this way.  You have no need for concern and no need for testing.  Please, no follow-up questions.  Take care.  EWH
