Thank-you for your help..... This is a very informative forum with great advice... Thanks again!
For future info if you ever have a risk (unprotected vaginal or anal sex) then a 3 month test is conclusive. Rapid (blood or oral) or straight blood test, doesn't matter as long as it is an antibody test.
But for my person education, does it matter what type of HIV test is taken? (Rapid Blood Test, oral, two-week blood test)
You never had a risk of contracting HIV.
One other question. Does it matter if your taking a rapid 20min blood test versus pulling blood and having it sent for review (Two-week period)? I seen on different forums where poeple have suggested to take a 6 week test. Does it matter what type of test?
Understood. Loud and clear!!!! I may have anxiety about this issue... Thank-you....
if you have read ANY of this forum...you would have seen that EVERYONE has "symptoms" of infection...even those who never had a risk...AS IN YOUR CASE.
symptoms cant be used to diagnose hiv. the symptoms of early infection are the same as those of MANY, common, everyday illnesses.
if someone has a risk...they test. they dont symptom shop...and especially on this forum ! !
I'm sorry, I meant other websites? Even on this webpage, it has a "Sympton Checker" hyperlink....
If you've noticed we don't nor does the Expert Forum.
Ok. As a general question then, if symptoms don't give an indication of a risk, then why post them???

You can never use symptoms to try to get an indication. You did not have a risk for HIV.
Yes, But i'm sure my tip of my penis touched her vaginal area. She was very moist.... Also, I've been having hot flashes and a cold that wont go way.... Do you think I over-reacting with anixity? Does the symtoms sound like a concern?

If you did not have any unprotected vaginal penetration you were never at risk.
