Sore Throat

Here it is in a nut shell.  84 days ago I had sex with a woman, got a HIV test done on the 84th day, it was negative, and yet around the 75th day I got a sore throat that won't go away I am on amoxicillin now, day 94, and have been on it since day 87.  Is it normal to have a sore throat the entire time your on antibotics, or is this just a symptom of HIV and it just wasn't soon enough to tell in a test if the antibodies were there yet?

You are right on I'm still very anxious about the whole thing.  After the sore throat, and antibiotics I noticed white dots in back of tongue, and my tongue is now a white film across most of the top.  I hate this why did I have to be so stupid!

If you have weakened immune system then HIV symptoms would come sooner. But like I said your 84th day test should be enough to tell that you dont have HIV.

Also, note that the chances of contracting HIV for men is like 1 in 2000 exposures.

Also I should note that I have always had a weakened immune system, would that have made the HIV show up sooner or later than the normal?  I've been curious about this for a while now.  Thanks

HIV test negative at 84th day (i.e close to 3 months) should be conclusive that you do not have HIV.
Go see a doctor for sore throat. May be the antibiotic is not working for you.
