Sore Throat

Sore Throat

I know you've answered this question below, but my 'twist' on it has to do as to where the certainty comes from in your response.  I performed protected oral sex last week--my first time.  I now have a severe sore throat exactly one week later.  The use of the condom, protected me correcet?  If it had not been safe sex, would your views on the sore throat have changed.

I enjoyed the experience, and want to do it again, but I want to understand my level of worrying and what is appropriate.

Thank you.

you had condom protected oral sex and did not put yourself at risk for hiv.

a sore throat is a sore throat...see your doctor for some meds if it continues...you might have tonsilitis.
