Sore neck/glands (not swollen) for 5 weeks - after unprotected oral

Hia

I have a sexual encounter with a escort 6 weeks ago,(The first time I have ever been unfaithful) which invloved protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex (receiving) I also lick her cliterus for 4 seconds before stopping.

After four days I visited the GUM clinic and was tested for Chlamydia & Gonorrhoea, results came back three weeks later as negative

Was then retested for Chlamydia and results came back a week later negative.

a week I started to have a sore patch on the left side of my neck, I visited the doctors on day 12 with this and he said my lymph nodes were not swollen bit I had a slight sore throat.

This sore throat went away within 7-10 days, I reveiested the doctors on day 24 as neck still sore, he again check my nodes and confirmed nothing was swollen. he did however give me some cream for a rash (shaving rash on my left hand side)

Its now day 45 and I still have asore neck on the left side during the day, the pain goes away at night (when laid down).

I have NOT had a fever, or headaches or any other obvious ARS symptons, however the sore within my neck is really getting me down and depressed...

I have also emailed the escort involved and she confimed that she was tested a couple of weeks prior to the exposure and all tests were negative including HIV.

Any thoughts, I am very anxiety and think about how stupid I have been all the time

It doesnt matter if it theory or whatever. There are no actual recorded cases of transmission from oral sex. Nobody has ever got HIV from getting a **. Get over it already.

I have read that its in theory, or 1 in 20000

But as I have had the sore sore neck/glands for 5 weeks I am still very anxiuos

There has not been a recorded case of infection from oral sex. Its a risk in theory only.

Unprotected oral sex carries a very small risk, only 1 in 20000, so if  you remain worried, just get tested by now (6 weeks) the test would be 95% accurate,  an that with the very small risk of receiving oral sex would be enough.

Good Luck

Proteced sex means just that, PRTOECTED SEX!! That mens you could not have caught HIV.

I stopped reading after the first paragraph.  You didn't have risk so you don't have HIV.  End of story.
