Sorry for the new thread

What else coud it be? I  tested for gonnorrea chymidia what else could cause my lymph glands in my neck swell?  What else could give me my first sore throat in 25 years? It has to be something as a result of that night. I have no peace. My family will be devastated thank God I have not put them at risk. All I have is a 17 day Neg. test,the hope that no fever is an indication that my problem is not HIV infection and the fact it was oral which lessens my chance of infection. I hope I have the guts to get my results

How about just a sore throat from giving head. If you have a concern see your doctor.

I my original post and my post to the DOC. You are right I did have a sore throat right away and that I know was from giving head.  It went away in about three days. This other sore throat was a typical one, showed up 2.5 weeks after the even and my neck glands were swollen. It took 2 weeks for the throat to go and my glands are now back to normal.

I did go to the Doc. and she said my throat was raw. That' when I got the std test.all neg. Also as you know my hiv [17day] test was neg. Heck I don't know, all I do know is I believe the second sore throat is related to that night a couple of weeks earlier. That scares the hell out of me for as you know the timing seems right for symptoms.. Again I am foucusing in on Dr.HHH experience that FEVER almost always is with symptoms of ARS which I did not have. Also I know the Med. comunity thinks oral is low risk so I am trying to stay with those thoughts. But really I am hurting and my test results should be back Sat.  As I said in my post, really I have tried to play it so safe for years what happend to me I will never understand. Thanks, any encouragment will help me through these next few days..
