Stat Pack Rapid Finger ***** Test

On July 24th I had a rapid hiv finger stick test conducted.  The control line was bright red but it only went 95% across. (not the full 100%).  The counselor said it wasnt a problem because it was located where it should have been, right next to the C.

Do you agree with this statement?

Consequently I returned to a different site on July 28th.  They did the same test and the result was negative.  The line went fully across this time.

Thanks!!

Yes I tested using the same test on July 26 and July 28.  Both results were negative.  Both times the control line was dark red and complete.

and why are you so focused on that control line?  did you not have another test done after that one?

Thanks for responding, but what are your thoughts about the control line not fully extending across the panel?  I appreciate your insight.

That one test where the control line didn't fully extend spooked me.  Thoughts?
