So I did some Googling and after a time it's near impossible to match a strain person to person, plus it's very expensive. On top of that, even if the strain was matched soon after exposure, it's not even 100% at that time. So basically unless there's nothing that can be done for the most part.
There's nothing to win in the person turn out to be positive anyways. I was just trying to find out if there was a science that was able to make the determination.

Thank you for your answer. So there is no way to link the strain directly person to person, or at least close enough to make a match that would be able to be ruled on? How do they determine the outcome of any legal cases if the strain is common locally & can not be traced?

Yes, but most people within a geographical area will usually have the same strain. It's been used in court cases.
