Strange CD4 CD8 change

Hi dear Doctor,

I know you usually don't reply to any curiosity question, but I am now really worried about my test results, Please, help me on this, I really appreciate your kind help.

I have an exposureback in March. After that I developed some symptoms, but the HIV antibody (EIA) and viral load test all came back negative (The last HIV 1/2 EIA was done at the 6 month mark). However,
I just got my test result for Lymphocyte subset done recently. Comparing to the previous test result in June, I am really very confused and worried:

June: CD4: 751 CD4 percentage: 45% CD8: 420 CD8 percentage: 25% CD4/CD8 ratio: 1.79

Nov: CD4: 738 CD4 percentage: 39% CD8: 511 CD8 percentage: 27% CD4/CD8 ratio: 1.44

My CD4 count doesn't change much, but the CD4 percentage and CD4/CD8 ratio dropped significantly. The CD8 count increases by almost 100. Could you explain to me what this might mean? Some Bad sign? The only difference is that back in June I got a very severe cough and was on anti-biotics for several weeks.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your kind assistance! I am very scared now.

Hi, I still have some symptoms (rashes, eye floaters, ...) now, and I don't know why my cd4 percentage and cd4/cd8 ratio dropped while the cd8 numbers went up. This is really scary.

CD4 and percentage drop and rise doing different times of the day that has nothing to do with HIV.

Thanks for these replies, Teak and Lizzie. However, I am still a little worried, especially about the HIV subtype O or some highly mutated strain. I am not feeling very good since March (Ear ringing, easy to catch cold, Eye floaters, sometimes muscle pain). You guys are very knowledgeable on this, could you help me or let some doctor give me some advices? I heard that CD4 percentage should be stable normally. Thanks again!
