Stressing Out!!!

ok i had sex fore the very 1st time with a girl ive known for a while i know she has been with multiple partners, but when i asked her she said she was clean but hasnt had a test in a year, being with other guys within that year... so we had sex for a few minutes and i did ejaculate but i had a condom on, but it may have been loose and not on correctly, and i had a small scrape on my penis, but my question is...

1) am i at high risk from this one time exposure
2) ive been expieriencing fatigue for a few weeks on and off should this be a concern?
3) its only been about a month since the incidenti wanna get tested but its too early, how long should i wait.. i know 3 months is what most suggest but im gonna go crazy if i wait that long

and one more thing on the whole protected cus i wore a condom.. sum of her vaginal fluid may have got inside of the condom because it was on rather loosely and again i had a small scrape about a cm below the head of my penis so that adds fear that i may be at greater risk if indeed she has sumthing

Thanks baggio im glad you can understand my feelings on the matter u pretty much nailed it but just the thought that i COULD have such a disease is enough to alter my life and when i do go get tested which i will probably do at like 6 weeks then 3 months, and if i am negative i am going to have a new outlook on life and take nothing for granted and always be much more careful because it was my 1st sexual encounter i just threw a condom on and got right to it which is why it wasnt on that great..
Im reading all this **** on chronic fatigue disorder and stuff which is also in like 4-5 / 100,000 people and also its like a .1% chance im infected from my one time exposure but the fact is that it CAN happen from one time so thats what keeps me going crazy.. i just wanna go back to my normal life this is all crazyness to me which i never invisioned myself having to deal with.. and hopefully will not have to anymore after a few weeks!

What "HIV symptoms" have you even been having though?  All you've told us thus far is that you've been experiencing fatigue, which I'm afraid is definitely not a symptom that's reserved only to people who are HIV positve.  From what I can gather just by reading your posts you seem to be a very stressed out person that is unecessarily panicking and obsessing over an incident that posed to risk!  You were wearing a condom, and even if it may have been a little loose it didn't slip off or break on you, thus you were still very much protected, thus you are fine.

My only advice to you would be to just let it go and move on.  But I understand that when you have an obsessive fear about something it is hard to listen to the words of others and just accept the fact that you are ok.  If this is the case, then by all means go and get yourself tested at the 3 month post exposure period in order to get your conclusive result.  Once you get your negative result then hopefuly you can overcome your anxiety.

My fatigue is not stress induced because even when im not stressed its still around so i get anxious because of this, not the other way around but this has been my only symptom and yes i know i shouldnt be looking into symptoms too much but ive had sex 1 time and keep thinking how horrible it would be if sumthing happened from this 5 minute encounter .. 5 minutes out of 19 years, and my partner was quite possibly high risk but still am not sure if she even has hiv or anything else.. ugh never shoulda done it

i like to think thats the reason but theres always the thought that the fatigue is causing my anxiety rather than vice versa.. and i did have a condom on BUT like i said.. it may have been on loosely and not correctly so that adds to my concern

Anxiety= FATIGUE.  Fact of the matter remains that you wore a condom (good for you!), and were thus protected.  Your fatigue in my opinion is heavily related to your anxiety and fear.  Once you come to grips with the fact that you were protected and didn't have a risk, then you will stop living in fear an your anxiety will disappear along with it.

Go on with your life! :)
