Can HIV cause swollen gums? Can ARS happen after 6 months?

No, but poor oral hygiene does and no you don't get ARS after 6 months.

Thanks guys. It does seem to me that this forum is the only place I can ask questions and get real honest answers without feeling stupid.
Teak, just to check with you. All the test I have done will only state either- not detected or non reactive, why does some who post their result here have figures on their result? 0.35 or whatever?

Does it make a difference if there are no figures as compared to some small figures?

You will never find zero figures on those test results. Less than 1 is all your looking for.
