Swollen lymph nodes right side of groin

A little over a month ago I had protected anal sex with a man. Recently, I noticed the lymph nodes on the right side of my groin were swollen. I also noticed 5 pimples in a row on my lower back. Now the guy I was with said he was HIV negative and I did use a condom but now it's got me worried. Is there any chance this could be HIV related?

You never had a risk of contracting HIV with or without a condom.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't really know the guy so it just had me worrying that he might have been lying. I saw swollen lymph nodes as a symptom of HIV and I tend to think the worst. But thanks for putting my mind at ease a bit before I go and get my groin checked out.
