without a sore throat and I could feel the muscles in my neck, but no lymph nodes. About 4-5 days later I got body achesit lasted about a day then came back about 3 days later. My neck is still tender and swollen a little over a week later. I still feel slight burning sensation under my arms every now and then during the day. It doesnt hurt when I touch them. These are the only symptoms I am concerned about because these came together, but i have other weird things happen a few days before, but maybe that was just a coincidence. I had mono a 6 weeks before the neck swelling and nodes underarms and I have the same exact symptoms as the first episode and they appeared in the same order as before. I still have lymph nodes in my neck that are swollen from mono and they did not get bigger with the swelling of my neck. Is there a burning sensation felt before the appearance of lymph nodes in ARS? Is neck muscle swelling a symptom of ARS? Could this be mono again, feels like with the exception of the nodes under arms. I will get a 6 week test and 12 week, just needed some advice before then. Thanks!!!
I know, but I just want to know is swelling of the neck is common in Ars. I know a sore throat is, but my throat wasn't sore during that time, just swollen neck. My axiety level is through the roof. I can't eat or sleep.I just want to be mentally prepared before I test.
Hiv is never diagnosed on the basis of symptoms alone. Many different infections and reactions cause similar types of symptoms not specific for hiv.Don,t try to self diagnose yourself.Only an hiv test result is going to provide you with the answer you seek.
My advice is stop browsing for those HIV stuffs because there is quite a lot of misinformation on the net, be it outdated or exaggerated info. Focus on your job. Remember that symptoms can also be triggered by fear.
If you've reached 3 months post-exposure you can ask a health centre about the type of test they use and then ask us whether the test is appropriate in this thread.
