I have no idea where you are getting your information but 3 months is conclusive. CDC changed their guidelines in 2004. Now go seek professional mental help as to why you can't accept your test results.
Oomar, Congrats. You are negative.
If you can not get over it in your head just take a regular veinous blood test and get your negative result. Maybe that will help. Also, were you vaccinated for Hep B? Many people have been, so if you were that means the antibodies show up because you are immune.
Oomar I am not an expert on testing but the doctors in the expert forum say that 3 months is conclusive. i doubnt that after testing this much your results will change so calm down and forget abouit the past.
Well people in here seem very knowlegble a/b this. The thing is that how can I explain high fever for almost 3 weeks and this skin rash tha i still have it in my arms. It have been 7 months of thinking about i'm infected. I just read that beside veriosn 1 and 2 of the virus you have sub types like gruop N and 0 that can't be decteted with Elisa.
Well Teak and other you do think ORAQUICK ADVANCE is good enough for all strain of the virus?
Here in the clinics said 3 mons is conclusive, cdc estates 97% at 3 mons and 100 at 6 months. I;m trying to become a father and this is very hard for me thinking i'll infecte my wife and my child.
Is 6 months conclusive with Oraquick Advance ?
I read about some strians of hiv but i really don't know what to think guys.
Please coment about this , my last post.
6 months was not better at all. It is out of ignorance and/or mental issues.
6 months was not "better"...3 months was conclusive.
Hi Oomar,
Just live your life....and stay safe...
3 months was enough 6 months was better.....
HIV virus is sensitive and easily detected with today's equipment and tests......tell ur self this....'if you were infected doctors wouldn't have klet u go for a very simple reason...you coulc infect others.....so they will treat you and refer u to a specialist"......taht is what they do in UK at least.....so take care and be good.
Go talk to someone if u are too scared.....
Take care,
FWK
I concur, seek professional mental help.
wow...all those tests and you still "think" you have hiv!!!!!!!
you are on the wrong forum...you do not have a hiv concern. seek professional mental help for your concerns.
Now i have read that some hiv test dont check for group N, O, or soemthing like that, i'm so worried i just wanto to....i dont even now what i want take care!
and Oraquick is reliable?
Please calm down. I am not an expert but you are good; you got a negative result at 6 months, when a 3 months result would be conclusive.
Many people have herpes. It can be passed non-sexually. Hep B is treatable, so you are on the right track, but it needs to start with moving on with your HIV negative status. I am happy for you, and please stay safe.
