I hope you are doing well. I have some questions. I had sex with about 7 csw in Tijuana last year all of which was protected except one time where the condom broke. I realized maybe 30 second or a minute later. Several times I was pretty drunk but i did not noticed the condom broke except that one time. The condom broke on Oct 22 of last year and that was my only unprotected exposure. I got tested January 20 of last year and did not have any sex until August 2010. All the CSW say they get check regularly because It is required in Tijuana. I contacted the girl many times and each time she told me that she was HIV negative and she showed me her health card. As a matter of fact I called her today and she said she got test two weeks ago and she was negative. I did not noticed any of the symptoms of ARS following the condom break. Before this I did noticed my left armpit hurt for 3 to 4 days. I got tested for chlamydia, Gono, and syphilis at the end of last year and all negative. This past week I been looking at my mouth a lot because I heard that you can get oral hairy leukoplakia and thrush if you are infect with HIV. I noticed some white kind of thing on the left side of my tongue and can't scrape off. I had one of my dentist friend looked at it yesterday and he doesn't think is oral hairy leukoplakia but he also said it doesn't look entirely normal either. He want me to to follow up on it. Can I get oral hairy leukoplakia in 3 months assuming I am infected? I don't feel sick but very stresses. Could it be that I got infected when I was drunk using the condom the other times? I have a doctorate in statistics I understand that the chance are low 1/1000 of contracting hiv from one unprotected exposure. I read that in low income countries the chance are 1/250 from a meta-analysis in 2008. Since Mexico is a low income country and this makes me more nervous. I plan to get tested this Monday morning. I am feeling horrible and having a mental breakdown. Thanks for you help.

Symptoms don't necessarily tell the truth, a test does. If I were wrong, somebody would correct this statement.

Is really Protected sex = No Risk, what happen If there is lots of alcohol involved? Can you also answer my question above? Thank yo so much. I am going to get test tomorrow and I am just freaking freaking out now. Looking every where for symptoms. OMG

Can I get oral hairy leukoplakia in 3 months assuming I am infected? I don't feel sick. Can I get HIV from protected sex when drinking a lot but didn't noticed condom break? What percent of infected people get ARS? Thanks!!!
What's to answer? You know you had a risk and you stated you were getting tested on Monday. Nothing more to add than what you don't already know.
She said she tested several months after that. Yeah you are right. I will go get tested this Monday. Wish me luck.
Never ever believe the test result of those frequently engaged in HIV high risk activities because they could get HIV virus and pass it to you AFTER the test.

Are you sure they are serious about the enforcement of health cards. My dentist friend has a girlfriend that is working in Hong Kong club and she has her health check results I saw it yesterday. I am not sure if all the girls does it. Well I hope that we both are OK. I am just so so paranoid I can even function.
It was in Chicago club. She pretty wild, I think I could have gotten oral sex without a condom with her. But I did not. I took her up a few more times after that but no sex just oral with a condom and get information from her. I saw her health card like 4 or 5 times since that happened over the next 3 months. But I still panicking and I am worrying about the other times when I was drinking a lot.
