have been killing me.Please advise bro. My doctor recommends me to get 3 month test. But he said my DNA PCR was not needed. I don't understand that. I;ve never felt this feeling in my feet and hands
, if you're referring to peripheral neuropathy thats
a. HIV drugs side effect
b. Advance HIV symptom
c. It's an anxiety disorder symptom
You tested at the right time, DNA - PCR was like icing on the cake and that makes it clear "YOU ARE NEGATIVE" !
I certainly agree to your doc'..3 months is conclusive as per the CDC however recent studies and other agencies / experts like the MASS and Dr. HHH says 6-8 week's conclusive and truly it is
Please Search for "symptoms of anxiety" here in this forum or google and you will find what is happening to you and then relate what you see in your body to "anxiety".
Its not HIV.
Again I too have been experiencing pins and needles (prickling) all over body and it has much more recently been occurring more in my feet and toes with slight burning. It comes and goes as well.
I have seen a few sites that state HIV affects your nervous system early in the infection. I have also read that it is late stage/advanced HIV disease (result of). I am hoping that early in the infection is referring to perhaps the first year or two, not 2 months after possible exposure.
I am additionally hoping that it is outdated information regarding PN early in infection.
Question to Worried One, would you mind posting again if you come up with any solutions to your problem or your problem worsens or clears up.
Thanks
