I'm married and have a 6 month old baby.

Recently in thailand, i went for a regular massage and the CSW gave me protected oral. It was rough and my penis hurt thanks to her teeth ( guess she was an amateur ). She licked my scrotum and sucked my balls I got a oil massage done. Before she could even start, she had asked me big money for which i refused and negotiated for less. Guess she dint like it.

After that, next day, i went to a CSW for vaginal sex. Asked her if she has HIV for which she said NO. She gave me protected oral, sucked my scrotum. I just got intimate and hugged her closely. Since she had just one condom,and that was used for oral, i couldnt have sex.

Soon after a 4 days, i got a severe sore throat, with white spots in my ovula and red spots on the mouth roof. ( i drank cold beer and smoked during my stay in thailand ). They went off in 15 days. My nodes in the neck had become big and pained a lot. I have started feeling the nodes in my arms and groin area ( after reading the symptoms ) and feel them too.

no fever, no rash. I had lost my appetite though for some days. I'm sure i dont have any other std's as no visual outbreaks or symptoms.

1) Can the symptoms be related to ARS
2) What are my HIV chances
3) Do people try to spread HIV deliberately if the customers annoy them / saddistic behavior.
4) Do i need to test. iam **** scared.
5) Can i have unprotected sex with my wife ?
6) Is strep, a symptom of HIV , i think i had strep
7) I'm an overly anxious person - your patient answering will do a world of good to my mind and regular well being. I love you guys.

Teak/ Avonelle, i know your understanding in this field is immense. Dont get annoyed by my above questions. Kindly do let me know my risks. Me getting a serious strep with white and red spots in my mouth right after 4-5 days after the above exposure cant be a coincidence. I havent got strep in my entire life. iam 30 yrs old. Please patiently answer teak. I love my family and daughter. dying of guilt and anxiety every moment

only silver lining is i am 8 weeks negative on RAPID BLOOD TEST. But still no peace of mind after reading that 8 weeks in too less for testing and RAPID BLOOD TEST give false negatives. ( Test was done in a reputed hospital in india )

You had absolutely no risk from either of the scenarios you posted above. You can't get HIV from oral sex, and additionally, your oral sex was protected anyway! There is NO risk in this. Your symptoms are not at all indicative of HIV infection, and you were never exposed to HIV. You have no reason to test, and to test would be a waste of your money because you definitely did not get HIV from this exposure. You have nothing to worry about.

Your guilt and anxiety are playing a very large factor in the fears you're having. My personal advice to you is to level with your wife and let her know what happened. This will make you feel 100% better. Undoubtedly, it will cause turmoil in your relationship with her, but your guilt will continue to eat at you, resulting in the outcome of excessive fear over a no-risk situation. This is self-punishment. Forgive yourself and move on. You were never at risk.

Dear Avonelle38, thanks for your patient answering. just two more questions and no more posts i promise.

1) Is 8 weeks RAPID negative blood test reliable ?
2) I feel there are enlarged lymph nodes in my groin and armpits which are tender. what do you think.

For you, since you never had a risk, your 8 week test is obvious proof you were not infected. Enlarged lymph nodes can be caused by millions of different things in the body.

You do not have HIV from this exposure. Please try to move on from this.

I had a bad bout of cold, fever and diarrhea in the last one week. I had unprotected sex with my wife 3-4 times in the last 3 weeks assuming i was fine ( thanks to rapid blood test after 8 weeks ). Now she has got a cold and down with fever. My 10 months old daughter is on breast milk and she has also got a cold. i'm terrified and think that my life is over.
