TONGUE ULCER

Today while giving my tongue a vigorous brushing (w/ tongue brush) an ulcer was found in the back, middle area of my tongue. So this is yet another symptoms of hiv infection as i've read and never had a problem with tongue ulcers before so...I'm going to check the just tested + site @ the body to see if they match up with hiv progression..

I understand that. But to say you cannot contract HCV by sexual contact is not fact and that is what chapeau stated.

HCV can be transmitted via unprotected sex. If you have a concern about HCV take it to the Hepatitis forum or see your doctor and get tested.

Again, I love ya.  But there is a difference between "it can be" and "it IS".

I don't know your sister, and I'm sure she's a lovely person.  I can only speak from personal experience and some knowledge.  I know there are about 10 doctors all over the US, who my husband convinced that he got it sexually, too.  I know how he got it.  It wasn't through sex.

I'm sure there are people who do contract HepC sexually, and your sister may indeed be one of the few.  I'm quite sure it happens.  But if it happened with any regularity, then discordant long term couples would be advised to use condoms to prevent transmission.  And they are not.

Dr.HHH says otherwise my friend. He states that if it does occur it's usually from a hep-c person in a long term relationship which adds many varriables to how the transission may have occured, such as sharing object like razors, it broadens things a little. It can be but is unlikley transmitted during...

I know it can be transmitted sexually. That's how my sister in law contracted it.

Well, a big difference between "it can be transmitted sexually" and "it IS transmitted sexually".  It is uncommon to have HepC transmitted sexually.

Discordant HepC couples are not advised to even use condoms.

There can be exceptions to every rule, of course.  But it is uncommonly transmitted by sex.

Can you lay off the hostility Orillion, it's getting tired man...and hep-c is not an std so i don't know why you are testing for it as one. It's a bood born pathegen, so unless you and your partner were bleeding profusly or you were somehow stuck with a needle i would'nt worry about hep-c @ all.

Where are yours? You obviously can't move past a situation in which you've had a definitive answer to. Grow both and move on.

You're just as bad as the "worthless addicts" you describe. You are addicted to thinking you have HIV when you don't. You need help and need to get off this forum. Get a life.

Your taxes? How about those people that are paying for your repeated unnecessary HIV tests because you don't want to believe your results. Addicts are worthless? They are no different than you chapeau and until you are promoted to the position of God, I would watch how I judge someone.

It is called anxiety.  After reading back over many pages here, it is obvious that chapeau does not have an hiv infection.  He tested negative out to the three month mark but refuses to accept this.  His fear and symptoms are anxiety driven.  Chapeau stated in an earlier post that his symptoms were physical, not mental.  That is what anxiety will do to you.  The mind is so powerful that it will actually cause the symptoms to appear physical.  A person can actually make themselves sick from worrying about something.
