Teak, Are my symptoms consisent with ARS?
Sorry to bother you Teak, but I need some advice so I can finally get off these forums and get some sleep tonight.
It has been about 4.5 weeks since the first unprotected vaginal sex with no ejaculation, and about 3 weeks since the last without ejaculation.
About 4 days ago I began to feel like a virus was coming on, just a general feeling of malaise.
Yesterday I had a slight fever of about 99.5 and my groin lymph nodes are sore. I wasnt feeling around for them but noticed in the shower it hurt when I touched the area. I have white bumps on my tonsils but no sore throat. My nose is congested and I am extremely tired.
I went to a clinic today to have a throat culture to check for strep and the doctor said my lymph nodes are mildy swollen she said on a scale of 1-10 they are a one. My temperature was back to normal, 98.2.
Do you think I have a garden variety cold brought on by SEVERE anxiety and lack of eating and sleeping? Or does it sound like it could be ARS?

At this point I am nearly certain I have tonsilitis. There are painful white bumps on one of my tonsils and it hurts when I swallow, not the throat just the tonsil.
Hopefully that explains why I have been feeling so sick lately. I was stressing it was ARS.

99.5 would not be considered an ARS fever. Lymph nodes are not sore or do they hurt in ARS/HIV infection. So your symptoms do not sound like ARS. You can not rely on symptoms when it comes to diagnosing HIV. Only a test will tell you your status. A conclusive test is 3 months.

From what I have researched on the Internet, most ARS fevers are very high.
I know Teak cant predict if I have ARS, I just want to know about the fevers so I can rest.
