Teak, Lizzilou please answer

I had a massage in Eastern Europe.  During the massage, I rubbed the clitoris of the masseuse.  later on I saw that I had a skin tear on below my nail from the previous day and I saw that it was red, not sure if it was bleeding when I rubbed her.

I tested at 48 days AG/AB Hiv1 and 2  - negative
91 and 93 days - INSTI Hiv1/Hiv2 - negative
105 days - AG?AG Hiv 1 and Hiv2  - negative

1) Am I clear?
2) Should I be afraid of HIV2?  Not sure as the AG component does not pick-up HIV2 antigen.
3) Generally, I am healthy, except have some benign lipid tumors.  Will this in anyway affect formation of antibodies?  Do  I need to test at 6 months?

Scared.

Thanks!

Understand, that's why getting answers to questions of worry really help.  Thanks!

Actually, they don't, not in the long run. They feed the cycle of anxiety.  You get an answer, feel relieved for a short while and are back to needing more and more reassurance.

The BEST thing you can do is get engaged in life and move on.

Can you answer this one last question?

I am afraid as I have joint pain in my litte finger where it meets the palm for the last 3 months - its not recovering.  Also, on an off I get throat pain.  I am just worried that for whatever reason, I may not have formed antibodies yet, especially if it was Hiv2 and/or the viral load (due to the low risk incident) is low.  Is that possible?

Thanks

Thanks nurse girl.  By insertive vaginal or anal encounter you mean vaginal or anal intercourse - right?  Not fingers etc...

This is very helpful and much appreciated!

HIV is not transmitted like this.  HIV is actually extremely hard to transmit and requires either an unprotected INSERTIVE vaginal or anal encounter, or sharing of IV drug works.  If you don't engage in either of those activities, you'll never have an HIV concern.

1) Am I clear?  **Absolutely...you never had a risk to begin with.

2) Should I be afraid of HIV2?  Not sure as the AG component does not pick-up HIV2 antigen.  **NO.  You didn't have a risk and HIV-2 isn't a realistic worry for the vast majority of people who DID have a risk (not you)

3) Generally, I am healthy, except have some benign lipid tumors.  Will this in anyway affect formation of antibodies?  Do  I need to test at 6 months?  ** NO.  It will not affect your antibody production or HIV testing.  3 months is conclusive.  If you had HAD a risk (you didn't), 3 months is definitive.

You need to let this go...you never had a risk and your test should prove that you don't have HIV.

If you can't let it go, get some professional help.

Dear Lizzie Lou,  I am afraid as I have joint pain in my litte finger for the last 3 months - its not recovering.  Also, on an off I get throat pain.  I am just worried that for whatever reason, I may not have formed antibodies yet, especially if it was Hiv2 and/or the viral load (due to the low risk incident) is low.  Is that possible?

Also, can HIV not get into the blood stream through the vaginal fluids getting in contact with a skin tear on the finger?  It had bled the previous evening...

Thanks!!!
