I have a squestion. i asked it earlier and the person just confused me.

If you had a possible exposure to HIV and then at about 4 weeks post you have all these things happening to you. High fever 102+ extremely sore throat and just feel really bad all over and you go to the DR and they do a Strep test and it's positive and they give you a shot and some oral antibiotics and in about 3 or 4 days you feel much better whith the fever stopping at 2 days. Would and new HIV infection cause a strep test to be positive that you know of?

My exposure was unprotected sex. I'm a female. But the syomptoms I described was my boyfriend. But not the one that was the possible exposure. That's when I strted freaking out about HIV after he had those symptoms. i have went for my test but it takes 2 weeks for the results.
