Thanks for clearing that up for me. Some other site I looked at said reflexes was western blot. So much misinformation!!!
One more question, call me crazy if you would like!! I had a high risk exposure in April 2000, before I met my husband, I was tested with a home access test in Dec. of 2000, roughly 7-8 months after exposure, it was negative. I called in to get the results. I was not tested again until the 2004 test, when pregnant. Those were the results I gave to you.Ok, so her lies the stupidity, is there any way either of those could have been wrong and I am positve? I ask this because I always have chronic sinus stuff, mouth issues, and other stuff. Please if I am beng ridiculous just tell me, is there a false negative factor? The reason I am concerned is that high risk situation in 2000 scares me!! I have only been with my husband since late 2000.

No that is not what it means at all. That is just the test used which you tested negative for antibodies.

or is that just the test they ordered and quite possibly they didn't use the reflexes part?

Thank you. I just didn't understand the reflexes part? Does that mean I had a positive elisa and they had to do a western blot?
