Hi I tested for a Hiv Blood Test at 18 weeks and im negative, I asked the nurse which test was used for the Hiv Blood test she said it tested for both and that they use modern test, i dont know what she means by tested by both,  can anyone tell me which test i did for hiv? and if it was 3rd generation or 4th?. and is my 18 weeks Negative Result Conclusive do i need to retest again?.  Please can someone tell me which test they did on me for hiv?

Conclusive if the test has been approved by a health body. Is the name "modern" test?

i dont know the name she said it was tested for both, and she said it was modern testing.  I dont know what she means by both.
