Test ok?

Test ok?

well...i am new to this forum...and i appreciate the comments given by Teak,Mike, extremestressed etc

i would like to put in my worry and would like a suggestion...

i had an exposure around end aug.

i had 3 kind of tests.

2 were P24 antigen test after 2 and 4 weeks of exposure -- Negative

then i had my recent test which was around 11 weeks (1 or 2 days short of 11 weeks i guess)

that was negative too...thank god.

i have read a lot on the internet that 3 months is conclusive and some say 6 months.
anyways my test was like 1.2 weeks or so short of the 12 weeks mark.... will that make any difference?

are my three tests FINAL? i mean do i need more testing?no matter what my exposure is...
i am not an IV drug user nor am i on organ transplant etc etc
please advice accordingly.

Your negative.
6 months is an outdated testing philosophy.
The CDC, (if you want to go by them....who is EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE) goes by 3 months.
1.2 weeks does not matter....YOUR negative.

are my tests conclusive evn if I have symptoms ??like slightly swollen lymph nodes under my left arm?its been confirmed by a doc.
the node swell thn becomes ok and comes back after 2-3 days.its painful too.this has been happening from the past 1-2 months just tht there was a gap of like 20 days recently n now again its there.its been happening like this.
am I safe after all these tests?can I ignore these symptoms n assume tht they r not hiv related?

yes...your test is negative...adn symotoms are not indicative of infection

ARS...even if it did exist for you, would not be intermittant.
Symptoms are not sporadic for HIV related infection.
Besides, it is hard enough for md's to diagnose swollen lymph nodes....and you can?
Your negative....move on guy.

reagardless.....not HIV related.
You would be having mutiple symptoms if this was HIV related....and mutiple swollen lymph nodes.  Not a litle bump here or there.  High fever is #1 on the list. That of which you did not state.

i showed my swollen nodes to a doc in the month of Oct (beginning) and that time he said i had swollen nodes...after that i got scared and took the test...2 days short of the 11 weeks....my exposure was in aug end...

then after oct beginning the nodes became normal and now again from the past 1 week i have the same swelling(slight) and pain...under the same left hand...(underarm)...

its like a pea sized ... one stays for 2-3 days then dissloves and then the 2nd one pops out then the 3rd etc etc.(all under the same left arm.).. all this happens for like 20 days or so and then leaves and then comes again (its happened....b4)

You can't diagnose HIV by symptoms. You tested negative close to 12 weeks which is conclusive. See a doctor for your concern. It has nothing to do with HIV.
