Testing Question

I tested -ve 19 weeks post an exposure what are the chances that I will test +ve on the 6moths test? I still have some symptoms like rashes and very dry cracked lips and sometimes dry mouth.

Because HCV is very rarely transmitted via sex.

Teak I read your profile and I am sure you have the experince to answer this question does the symptoms I have resemble any other STD? another question is why Hip C not concedered an STD?

What do you think ant-rejection drugs are used for? Chemo is one of the treatments for cancer.

so its the cancer ytreatment no cancer it self that my delay the antibodies? I also read something regarding the organ transplant?

The guidelines is 3 months post exposure. You don't fall in the catagory to need a 6 month test. That is for those that are on chemo, taking anti-rejection drugs and those that are chronic IV drug abusers.

If you have been on cancer treatment drugs or if you are an IV drug user that is the 6 month requirement

You have had a conclusive test which is 3 months post exposure. YOU'RE NEGATIVE..
