Testing and Hep B Vaccination

Hi,

I'm just curious about this.  Would a recent Hepatitis B vaccination affect the result of an HIV test? False Positive/False Negative.

I'm going to get tested in a couple of weeks. I'm just curious about this, since I just got a booster for my HepB vaccination

Not that I known of.  A HIV test at 3rd month remain conclusive.

Modern testing is able to locate the presence of any anti-bodies at three months. The only things that actually are factors are recent chemotherapy/organ transplant & blood transfusions SSW. Your test is conclusive at three months past any possible exposure to hiv.

but what about false positives?  i know about the confirmatory testing. but would the elisa be a false positive then?  i guess i'm just curious about cross-reactivity between the tests.
