That has nothing to do with getting an HIV test.
giving infected blood to someone has NOTHING to do with reusing a needle.
I want to explain why you are facing this sort of questions. Although it seems like a phobia; this kind of things still happens at some countries. In my country; 2 weeks ago; a nurse gave a hiv+ blood to a 1,5 year old baby. The blood was not checked. And the baby got infected. Also 5 years ago again in a local hospital they gave + blood to a baby. The hospital paid 300.000 USD to baby's family as material and moral indemnity. These events are all published at newspapers and tv news as health scandal. We sometimes ask things such as reused needles because in our countries we see this kind of events and can not trust anything.
NOOOOO RISK. Clinics do NOT reuse needles, PERIOD. You need to seek some serious help with your phobias, as teak said. If you cannot move on...then the only option you have is to contact the clinic, but my suspicion is you aren't going to believe anything they have to tell you.
You contact the clinic where you had your test done and ask them. Next post and you'll be reported to MedHelp.
Brother
A)Cases of reused needles and syrings have hit the tv here in india.
B) u said that if u were poked ... then u must inject sum infected blood or fluid to cause infection... u mean to say that everyone who got infectd with needle injuries ...injected themseleves with sum infected fluid?
C) Trust me i am too scared and i aint lying and i want to get this over me ASAP.
D)just answer my question thinking that The needle was REUSED... what will be ur answer? will u still say that while blood draw i am not at risk as nothing is being infused in my vein??
You didn't have a reused needle and you wasn't injected with anything. We're done here with this nonsense.
do u even say no risk... if it was a reused needle while i was having a blood draw? becos i read in one of ur posts that it doesnt matter .. becoz logically the blood in coming out of ur vein into the tube and nothing is being INFUSED into the vein....
so what i understand that even if there was lil bit of infected blood in the needle ... when my blood was drawn ,,, it will have flown down with my blood INTO the container? right?
u also said that all the cases where needle injuries took place... they injected infected fluid into thier vein... thts how they caught hiv and not just by pricking themselevs... is that true teak???
Your question was answered. You didn't have a clinic reuse a needle to draw your blood. Period. End of discussion. Seek professional mental help with your phobias.
