Thrush on tounge

ok im a 15 year old this morning i wikoe up went to my friends came home notcied some thick white stuff on my tounge so i went in brush my teeth then my toung it took a tiny bit of pressure to get the white of and then blood came out of the white stuff when it came off theres some redness and irritation no pain and my tounge looks normal  could htis be hiv? im so scared i just got over a sore throat last night please help

If these clumps were in the back of the tongue, thay are your tongue's pappillae. You should NOT  brush them too roughly. We can not diagnose what they are . If they perssist, please see your DOC. Not related to HIV.

If you have thrush, penicillin won't cure it. It will make it worse. Go to your doctor if you have a concern.

Go to the doctor and let him diagnose it. Then if it is thrush he'll give you the proper medications.

Do not mess with the coating on your tongue...by scraping, or brushing hard, etc.

You need to see your doc to be properly diagnosed.  If it is indeed thrush....antifungal meds should take care of it.  Antibiotics (ie Penicillin) will make it worse, like teak said.  You shouldn't ever try to self-treat anything by just starting to take meds you have lying around the house.

Whatever it is...it is NOT related to HIV as you did not have a risk.  See your doc for a definitive diagnosis, and quit worrying about HIV.
