what is a swollen gland? Ok, my question is that a friend of mine has what seems like a zist (sp?) under her arm? It is under the skin, can noot tell whether it is a swollen lymph node? How can you tell the difference. I had one like that three times, during my exporsure, and my doctors said that they were some kind of .....zit. It hurts like hell. And then in a day or two they go away; Do swollen seath glands really count as swollen lymph nodes? So many thanks to all of you.
