If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
It refers to people whose immune systems are SEVERELY compromised ("immunosuppressed", which is totally different from an autoimmune disease). This would be, for example...a person who has had an organOrgan-1 nr transplant who is taking anti-rejection meds, someone who has advanced/aggressive cancer, such as leukemia, who basically has no immune system, and someone who is on chemotherapy, again, which lowers the immune system dramatically.

Autoimmune disorders, such as Celiac Sprue, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc etc etc do NOT fall into this category whatsoever. Two totally different animals. A person with an autoimmune disorder can rely on a 3 month test result being totally conclusive, just like everyone else.
I am doing my best to move on and know that I will surely get there. You, Teak and Lizzie all help in the process and thank you all for that.

Thank you so much and have a nice night!
