You say that a swollen lymph node cannot be identified by seeing or feeling in ARS. Then how do people say that they have swollen lymph nodes?

By going to the doctor and having the doctor diagnose swollen lymph nodes. Most people that say they have swollen nodes actually don't. If one pokes and probes on their nick, under arm or groin they can cause nodes to swell and hurt which is not a symptom of ARS or HIV.

I agree with Teak.
The self diagnosis of lymph nodes very often it's wrong.
Only the doc can say If it's or not enlarged and it's or not dangerous.
Bunt don't worry because lymph nodes are very common in the neck or the groin.

Sometimes, you CAN feel swollen lymph nodes.

Depending on how close to the surface they are, you might even be able to feel a non-swollen lymph node.

If your skinny and/or really sick, you (and other people) CAN see swollen lymph nodes (the ones that are close to the surface, not the deep ones.)

You should see a doctor to find out why your lymph nodes are swelling. No matter what, swollen lymph nodes are serious (even if, in the end, you only have a tooth infection causing your lymph nodes to swell.) If you let the problem persist, it may get a lot worse. Especially if your immune system starts losing the battle that it's fighting.

Tell your doctor that your lymph nodes are swollen, then they'll give you tests, then you'll get a diagnosis.

I will repost a response that I left for somebody earlier who thought they had HIV because their lymph nodes were swollen. This person was also being told that you can't feel your own swollen lymph nodes. You don't have to be diagnosed to have swollen lymph nodes. However, if you have swollen lymph nodes then you need to get diagnosed, quick!

Also, you really should avoid touching any swollen lymph nodes because that will eventually cause even more pain and swelling.

Here is the other comment that I made earlier :

In many cases you CAN feel if you have swollen lymph nodes (but not in all cases). Also, there are plenty of cases where a doctor can't feel a swollen lymph node on a patient even though it is very swollen. Nobody (including doctors) are more familiar with your body than you are. If you still have swollen lymph nodes, call around to find a place that might be able do a biopsy or run some tests on your affected lymph nodes. This might reveal the cause of why your lymph nodes are swollen.

Swollen lymph nodes indicate that your body is fighting an infection. It could be HIV but it could also be bacterial or viral such as herpes. You could even have an infected tooth that you are unaware of.

Another thing,, you have a bunch of lymph nodes,, even if you only have one swollen lymph node, that has been swollen for a couple months, you should find a doctor that cares enough to help you figure out what's wrong.

Another thing that people don't realize is that, it is usually an itch or a pain that made the person itch their lymph node in the first place. That's usually how people find a swollen lymph node in their body. (Doctors barely ever notice swollen lymph nodes before the patient!)
