Towel Exposure

Hi,

First let me say that I am a germphobe and hypochondriac. Now, I am a bit concerned that I may have been exposed to HIV. After taking a shower I used a towel and after I wiped myself down I realized that there was a blood spot on the towel. The blood spot came in direct contact with the tip of my penis. What are the chances that I was exposed to HIV? I am concerned because the blood spot came into direct contact with my penis. I now that HIV is not transmittable through "casual contact" but does this qualify as "casual contact" since my penis came in direct contact with a blood spot? Please give me your opinion and I would appreciate if you gave some reasoning. Thank you.

Ive had an encounter with a scary towel too.  I know what he/she is talking about.  Lizzie thanks for explaining that though.

this is not a risk.  hiv does not remain active outside it's host (body).
